The reality of being the "Multi-Hatter"
Feeling like marketing and comms is “just another thing” on an already full to-do list?
You’re not alone.
This practical, friendly training session is designed for people working in small charities and third sector organisations in Wales who’ve been asked to look after social media, newsletters, or communications (often alongside many other roles).
You might already be posting now and then, sending emails, or updating your website when you can… but it doesn’t always feel effective, and time is always tight.
This session won’t tell you to be on every platform or create more content. Instead, we’ll focus on those quick wins and doing less, better.
What you will learn
- Defining your purpose: How to reach the right people on the right platforms without overstretching your time.
- Effective digital presence: How to be visible to funders and stakeholders through a secure and professional online presence.
- Metrics without the fear: A quick and easy guide to understanding analytics, separating what you need to report from what you need to learn.
- Tools for efficiency and quick wins: Introduction to simple tools and step-by-step processes to help you reuse content and streamline your workload.
- Bilingual basics: Practical tips for managing bilingual communications effectively in the Welsh third sector.
Includes a certificate of completion and a free marketing template.
Who is it for?
This training is perfect for:
- Micro and small third sector organisations in Wales
- Leaders, managers, trustees, project leads, or anyone responsible for comms “by default”
- Organisations without a dedicated communications or social media role
