Free data training sessions for third sector organisations in Wales this June.

You can access free training sesssions with Data Cymru on designing and running surveys again this June. Training sessions are available in Welsh and English and will be delivered by Data Cymru, who provide a range of specialist support designed to help you find and use data effectively.
The sessions are intentionally ‘basic’ in their approach and content, and are aimed at beginners. No previous knowledge of collecting and analysing data is required.
An introduction to designing and running surveys

This half-day course will introduce you to some top tips, tools and resources to help you design and run surveys. Our training course gives practical advice and guidance to help you prepare, produce and design surveys and analyse the resulting data.
By the end of the course, you will understand:
- survey design
- the most common sampling techniques
- how to construct survey questions
- how to pilot and run a survey
- how to analyse and present the results.
Data Surgery
Everyone who attends the training will also be eligible to apply for a pilot Data Surgery scheme. Data Cymru is collaborating with Newid to offer up to 4 hours of practical support for your data-related issue. Full details will be shared with everyone who has attended one of the Data Cymru training sessions organised this year through Newid.
